Showjumping

During the summer months we hold Clear Round evenings and Showjumping competitions at the Club Field at Park Farm, Aldingbourne nr Chichester. Heights from cross poles upwards so something for everyone. In the event of an elimination riders will not be asked to leave the ring after 2 refusals but will be encouraged to continue and complete their round

Dressage

We hold evening dressage competitions at the Club Field during the summer months. From walk/trot tests up to Novice, we try to make it as fun as possible and allow you to "come as you are", no need to plait up or wear show attire. We also sometimes have Dressage competitions at other venues, such as Brinsbury

Fun Rides

We are very fortunate to live in a very beautiful part of the country so we arrange group fun rides from time to time .  Rides are divided into small groups of riders of similar abilities with a guide to lead the way!  We have held rides over the beautiful estates of Slindon and Angmering Park and are always open to suggestions for other areas to explore!

Gymkhanas

Held at the Club field during the summer months, these are very popular and great fun for all ages. Riders of similar age race against each other and are divided as follows:

Group 1. Under 8 years or lead rein riders

Group 2. Riders 9 years – 12 years

Group 3. Riders over 13 years

Recently we have had more adults coming along and they have all had great fun!

Races can include bending, slow walk, ride and run, munch & go,  flag race and many more.  Rosettes to 6th place so a chance to come home with ribbons!

Trec & Working Equitation

We are lucky to have some excellent purpose-built obstacles so we can offer a really good experience for you and your horse/ pony, ridden or in-hand.  We hold training sessions and a competition at the Club field during the summer.

Team Events

From time to time we like to put all our Members' training and practice to the test!  We send teams to Meon Riding Club's Indoor Team Jumping at Crofton Manor Equestrian Centre and other events such as Team Chase at Fairoak Cross Country Course.
